The Ritz-Carlton is a luxury hotel chain well known in the United states. The first Ritz-Carlton to open in the United States was in New York in 1911. Since then, the Ritz-Carlton has grown into 89 hotels worldwide in 29 different countries. Florida alone is home to ten of these luxurious hotels.

In Manalapan Florida, a new Ritz-Carlton hotel was under construction in 2006. Rainbow Roofing Solutions helped provide a weatherproof roofing system for this new building. One of the primary materials used for the Ritz-Carlton roof was KEE Thermoplastic by Fibertite. Ketone Ethylene Ester (KEE) is a high-molecular-weight polymer with great elastic and melting properties for thermoplastic processing. Thermoplastic processing involves heating plastic fibers, changing their shape and building durable bonds which ensure a weatherproof seal for a roof. You can learn more about KEE and thermoplastic processing at http://www.fibertite.com/what-is-kee.

Today, the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manalapan Florida is named the Eau Palm Beach Resort.
