Growing up I wanted to be a race car driver, a pilot or a firefighter. I don’t recall wanting to be a roofing contractor, but what I do remember is wanting to be like my entrepreneurial father. I wanted to be successful like him and emulate his business talents, so I jumped at the chance to join him in 1985 when he created Rainbow Roofing. From its start, Rainbow Roofing quickly grew and gained customers’ trust. As a small family business our outstanding reputation was created by hard work, honesty and building customer relationships. My first roofing ‘memory’ was being sent to Cincinnati, OH to train with a roofing crew who were installing a TPO- Thermoplastic roof system on a large apartment building during an unprecedented heatwave with temperatures reaching about 100F. After a week on that roof I earned my stripes and returned 15 pounds lighter!
